Studio Herrström is a creative studio specialized in creating brand identity systems, campaigns, and activations. They collaborate with their clients to help them reach further by taking a holistic approach to strategy, design, and messaging.
The studio is led by Erik Herrström and Lukas Haider, who, with more than 25 years of combined experience, have worked with many major brands such as Nike, Spotify, Airbnb, Google, Discord, Snapchat, Red Bull, and more.
Over time they have helped brands adapt and find new ways to reach their audience through branding, marketing, and products.

In your Verbal Identity we ensure that you always communicate with your audience in a way that feels unmistakably you. So if we were to remove the logotype from the communications, your audience could still identify your language to be yours just by the way it feels. Studio Herrström’s identity for Elvis pulls on his typographic history. Drawing on his extensive archive of outfits and imagery, the brand lets the music do the talking.
In the wake of Baz Luhrmann’s 2022 film Elvis, starring Austin Butler, Sony Music Entertainment sought a re-energised identity for the king of rock and roll, following an influx of new fans and the resurgence of long-time listeners. Turning to Studio Herrström – who’d come off the back of branding Whitney Houston a year before – the Viennese creative studio embraced the eccentricity of Elvis, from his pelvic-centric dancing and costumes to his discography and acting credits.

Lukas Haider
Creative Director
With over a decade of experience working in music, lifestyle, and technology, Lukas co-leads the studio. Lukas has worked for brands such as Snapchat, Red Bull, Spotify, Eastpak, Waterdrop, Heimplanet, WoodWood, Jägermeister, T-Mobile and Vienna Tourist Board. His work has received multiple awards and has been featured in leading design publications such as It’s Nice That, AIGA Eye On Design, and Creative Boom.
Erik Herrström
Founder & Creative Director
Originally from Sweden, Erik has spent the majority of his career in New York City. His involvement in work for Nike, Spotify, Google, Airbnb, Discord, Twitter, Samsung and Sony Music has been awarded with 100+ awards including Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show and Art Directors Club. The work has also been featured in major press such as Forbes, Fast Company, Billboard, Wired and more.
Lindsey Skipworth
Director of Operations
Lindsey Skipworth is a seasoned operations manager for dozens of digital marketing agencies. She leads the project management team, as well as furthering structuring initiatives within the company and helping the studio to reach its full potential. Lindsey is responsible for the studio’s smooth processes that allow them to serve clients from around the globe, encouraging efficiency from the team and helping to deliver stellar brands to our customers.
